Hey I live in the US, viewing these forms have helped me find useful scripts such as projected earnings, and approval time script. Very very helpful and I thank those whom wrote those scripts.

My question is, what kind of set up do you use for efficiency (What scripts, how do you maintain efficiency etc)? How do you find decent paying HITS with rapid approval time? Which Requesters should I stay away from?

Today I submitted only 60, I just dont want to do 2k HITS for one requester and its a scam or they randomly approve people etc.

BTW This is my first post, thank you for your replies, I am looking forward to contributing to the MTURK Forum community

Well first and foremost, Turkopticon is my best friend. That is really the #1 tool in making sure that you're working for the best requesters possible. The chrome extension works flawlessly for me.

As for scripts, I have pretty much all of them installed. Today's Projected Earnings is probably the most useful for me, followed by Pending HITs. I find it motivating when I can easily see my numbers growing throughout the day. Also the False Availability (or whatever it's called) is really useful so I don't waste time clicking on a hit just to have it tell me that there are no more hits available in that group.

You can go around this forum to find suggested requesters, but I think the most important thing is finding what works best for you. Use Turkopticon of course, but work for different requesters and keep track of your experience with them. I have a text file on my hard drive where I keep a list of all of my most trusted requesters. I note how many hits I've done for that requester, and whether any were rejected for any reason (of course, multiple rejections gets them taken off the list...). By keeping a list, I always have a great starting point when I log on to start working for the day, as I can start off by doing a search for all of my favorite requesters from my list to see if they have anything good up.

Also if you have the means/ability to do it, using dual monitors can be a huge advantage if you utilize them correctly. I've got two 21" widescreen monitors setup side by side, and it makes multi-tasking so much more efficient.

Chaos thank you very much for your thoughtful and insightful reply. Is this community n00b friendly? Cause it would appear as though you are the only one who contributed to my posting.

Any good HITS you're working on? lol
