"Pending Approval"

    Hello,

    I have almost as many "pending approval" hits as I have paid hits.

    It there a protocol that if a hit is not accepted or rejected within a certain time that it is approved? If so,how long?

    Requesters have up to 30 days to approve your hits. The length of time varies between requesters, they set their own time up to 30 days for auto approve.

    You can check how long a requesters auto approve is in the hit if you look at the page source code. FYI for future hits.......

    right click within the hit
    open view page source
    Ctrl F
    search for "hita"

    example:
    "hitAutoAppDelayInSeconds" value="259200" this particular one is 3 day auto approve

    There's also an add-on that shows the auto approval time
