Guess I'm going to stay up all night doing these. Crap. I really wish they would dump these big batches at more sane hours.
Yesterday or the day before, they posted a big batch at like 4am EST. Talk about a crazy hour. I'm a night owl, but that was too late for me. I did about 50 and had to call it a night...or day. I'm taking a short break now. I just can't pound these out like some people. After about 50, I have to stop. My only motivation is that they won't last long, so my break has to be short. So much for catching up on this week's TV tonight!
alright i did about 125 of these...my eyes hurt. Hopefully there will be some more in the normal hour morning
I should have been more clear. TODAY, reports of these HITS being available in large numbers was at 4PM PST. Which to me doesn't sound like an awful time. I was not referring to Nobody's post.
I always code the ones from the company itself as neutral and put "N/A - Company website" instead of a sentence from the page.
I just can't/won't stop doing them, because I know they're some of the best paying tasks on mturk. This is a solid $7 an hour or so.
Oh, my god. My brain! It's 1 AM and it's like I'm the only person in the whole universe. Me, alone, doing crowdsource sentiment HITs.
How do you guys handle invalid pages? I write what's wrong with the page in "Provide feedback specific to this individual task" informing that the linked page is a forum, dead link etc (and i post this same information in "the sentence that most strongly persuaded your judgment section," and set the sentiment to neutral)
