I found this handy little app. It refreshes the web page at intervals and will alert you when keywords you put in come up. Mini faster notifying version of turkalert. To me it is anyhow.

2muchturkin, how do i access this app? I can't seem to locate it. :)

Thanks for sharing so much with us newbies. I'm on day 12 and I wouldn't have been able to do half what I've done over the past week without help from your more experienced Turkers. :)

indeed. You can keep searches going in different browser pages AND have it keyword search.. quite handy. Just don't blast the amazon server too hard with it I do not know their rules for this.

Wow, I haven't been on the forums in a week or so, but I literally installed this about the same day you posted this... Lol.

There used to be a similar one, it was an application website watcher? It's for PC, i'm on mac :(

Anyway, it wasn't in-browser based like this one. It was an application and it checked the website, even several at the same time, without actually refreshing the pages on your computer or something? I don't know, but I DO know that it used a lot less cpu than opening all those pages and having them refreshed constantly.

Not sure if it's still around, I haven't used it in years since i've been on mac. But you could have it alert you, email you, etc.

Sounds good. You dont have to set the refreshes that often if you do it like I am. There is a trick. If you want to look for a certain one like two lakes research here is what you do. In the browser you type in two lakes and hit go. The you open the refresh thingy(yes I said thingy) in the bottom for keyword type 'two lakes research'. Now you are not having to catch it in the first search page. Every refresh will search for two lakes and if they post no matter what page it is on it will show up. This way you can set the refresh to 90 seconds instead of a low number. Less refreshes this way. Just set it up to do the 6 second alert. Leave that window and it will do its thing. You can set up multiple tabs like this. I hope this makes sense but it works great and you dont need to have refreshes going as much.
