The requester mentioned above is one you you should avoid. the task is ''Find a product page URL". I have followed their instructions very well made sure I have submitted the exact URL of the product they want but to my dismay, the number of the the rejected HITs are unbelievable.
I too did more than hundred HITs from this, and all of them are rejected. I too cannot believe the number of HITs they rejected. I will never do their HITs again. Because of them my success rate came down.
I did almost 30 hits and I also made sure to follow the instructions before submitting. About 22 of those hits were rejected. I contacted them yesterday when I saw that they had been rejected. I asked why they were rejected and let them know that I made sure to follow the instructions carefully. Later that day I was given a reply: "Dear Mechanical Turk Worker, Due to a bug in our HIT processing, we incorrectly rejected some of your assignments yesterday. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible and will send an update within the next 48 hours. We regret the inconvenience and hope you will continue to do these HITs in the future Sincerely, User453" Today I checked my account and saw that 20 of the 22 rejected have been approved and are pending payment. I now have just 2 that are still labeled as rejected, but I can live with that.
When you see something like that happening, you need to feel free to contact both the requester and Mturk. I had the same thing happen with this requester so I contacted them concerning the hits and I also complained to Mturk and they worked it out as they did for Bella562. The rejections were reversed and I was paid. If you don't speak up, they won't bother to take care of it for you.
I guess I would have to email them and let's see what happens. Tnx Carmella. Though I have emailed them already that's why they have approved most of my work and left 4 rejected.
