    Even if I do 50 surveys in one day, it still has only ever taken me 10 minutes tops. Pretty easy system.

    But then again, I'm an organized FREAK! lol

    I might be in the minority here, but I'm of the opinion that if a requester doesn't want repeats, that it should be his/her responsibility to put measures in place to assure that doesn't happen. They're the ones imposing limits on their HITs, it shouldn't be on the turkers to keep track of that information.

    I totally understand tracking your HITs in order to ensure that you don't get rejected for repeat surveys. My point is, we shouldn't have to. Given that MTurk itself doesn't even really have anything in place to allow us to track this stuff, I don't think we should be expected to go the extra mile and keep track of our work just for a few extra picky requesters.

    Oh honey, I totally agree! I shouldn't have to do it! But, for me personally, I'd rather spend that little bit extra time keeping track than I would to get a rejection.

    yup, we can want amazon and the requesters to change how things work all we want, but for now to cover our posteriors, it's not hard to copy the previous day and just paste it in, unless you're up to thousands of hits a day, and even then it's not completely ridiculous, just annoying. and if you're doing that many hits, you can pretty much skip the pages and pages of batches you're likely doing since those don't request that you not retake them.

    No really good hits. All rubbish and only for 1 cent. Amazon lab is still hanging in there. Not going to touch it. It burnts doing their hits.
