Hello everyone! I have recently joined mturk, (10 days, $17.00 and counting ) and I understand that there is a 10 day waiting period, and stated previously it has been 10 days. Anyways, I just checked my account balance (It has been 10 days as of 27 minutes ago) and it says my account balance is $0.90 When can I redeem/transfer my money in complete amount? Is this some sort of glitch? Thank you for reading and hope I get an answer! -mturkPatrick
When your account reaches $10.00, then you can transfer the funds into an authorized banking account. The work you completed has to be approved and paid before you can make the transfer. Based off the info you provided, not all of your work has been approved. Once it has approved, then you can make the transfer.

I also want to transfer my money to an amazon gift card, not bank account. Therefore it's a minimum of $1.00! Why isn't my $17.04 showing up!!!!
The only thing I can say is check your account balance under account settings. This is located on your dashboard. If you have that $1.00 then you can absolutely use the funds for a gift card. If the work you did shows as approved-pending payment, then it will take a few hours to get paid. Once it shows as paid, then you can use the money however you want. I promise this much, if the $17.04 is approved, you will get the money and you can use it freely. There will not be an issue.
No no, I am not sure you are fully understanding what I am inquiring. I know of the account balance, approved HITs, pending HITs, ect. I have $17.04 of approved hits. That is the total amount I have on my account. My account balance however says I have only $0.90. I am asking why isn't the full amount of $17.04 in the account balance?
As of 2/27/12 I have 25 approved hits. I have 3 rejected and 3 pending starting from 2/18/12. The 25 approved hits were completed from a time span of 2/18/12-2/26/12.
God dammit I want to know why I can't get my $17! I am becoming impatient and belligerent! If my money I worked for isn't here by tomorrow I'm going to send out bad word for mturk. This is nonsense.
If the hits are approved-paid Patrick, then the money should show up in your account balance. I have never heard, in the entire two years of turking that I have done, that the money does not show up in the account balance. Please make sure you are looking in the right spot, OK

The only thing I can think of based on the info is the work is approved-pending payment. Click on the date that the work was completed on the dashboard, and see if it is approved-pending payment or paid. Outside of that, I dont see any problems or issues. The money that you earned that has been approved will show up.
Based on what I have researched, and your replies, I have too figure since it is because I am a new member, fresh 10 days old. It will probably take time for the full amount to be filled into my balance, hopefully in the next 2 days or so. That's what I am guessing. (anyway I have 3 pending HITs) Thanks. Yeah, I just got up. I now magically have $4.74 in my account. When I got home from school I bet there is going to be more. I wanted to order something today! Stinkin mturk! Well atleast it works.
The way I remember hearing it is Amazon refreshes accounts every 6 hours The day i was 10 days old I had nothing even though I had earnings The next day Everything was credited to my account
