My typing is around 60-70wpm (without numbers, you throw in a bunch of numbers it prob. drops to 30-35 a few numbers and I'm alright.)
About 2-3x a month they throw in a qual round of 10 to 20 HITs. You do them and then it assigns you a score, if it isn't borked. I've been doing them since 12 AM. I've been running on low sleep. I managed to shave off 10 seconds by tweaking my internet connection and just clicking on the google query link instead of right clicking and opening as a new tab. It takes about 8-13 seconds do to do a HIT. I upped the font size for the google results so I can quickly skim through the first 20 results. I was tired around noon, but I've been drinking black tea and coffee since. Which isn't a good idea. I took a break to eat thanksgiving dinner, so the pain in my stomach is keeping me up now. Almost threw up twice on myself. the joys of turking...
Yeah, but it's rare. Last week CS had some amazing HITs that were 14 cents a pop, and I made a total of 264 or 267 in 2 days. I could do that or this, and then I won't find anything for days. It just gets spread around all the days of the month.
If you're fast enough and can do it accurately, you can technically do 300-350 MedCrowd HITs an hour. I just put on some alternative music and got into the groove of it. You become a robot and notice a personal site instantly.
I would be careful with this one. I had a 99% approval rating. I worked this hit quite a bit over the past two weeks and only had a few rejected. It wasn't too bad especially since they use the same websites over and over again. Yesterday I did 372 of these hits and every single one of them was rejected. I knew that couldn't be right because they were the same websites I did before and got approved. I wrote them and never got a response back. Wrote MTurk and then wrote ClassifyThis again asking them to fix the problem. Instead of fixing the problem they blocked me (which gave me a warning from Mturk) and my approval rating dropped to 97%. Just be very careful. (This was suppose to go with the post talking about Classify this but it didn't show that post when it brought it here.)

Well.. 1703 hits, 90.05 bucks... not a bad thanksgiving. Prob go for another 10 or so bucks of medcrowds and then go to sleep, shopping in the morninnnnn
You know, I've done about 10 or 15 of these. They were pretty easy. I tried those "China" Carto's and they are ridiculous to try and find the same places on the map. Most of them were right there on all the other ones. This one, It took about 45sec to a minute to find the right location. I returned it. I also looked at their TO and it isn't very good. Some people saying they got paid but a lot of talk about rejections and extremely poor communication. I will wait and see if the others get approved before I do anymore of these. i've been doing them when they pop up, no rejections so far but it takes a really long time to approve. i've got some from 3 weeks ago which still haven't been approved, but some from the same day which have... as for the chinese maps, i noticed in the last batch i did for i believe beijing that every map was coming up slightly northeast of where it should be, so it was pretty easy to correct... what's worse is when whole swaths of roads just don't exist on the target map...
agreed. They were just slightly off but also roads were missing and the roads that were "the same" were similar but not the same. The whole map was off idk. First experience with that much difference. Most of them were point and shoot. I would bang a 50 out in 5 minutes. I'm just tired, I already worked a full time gig eating food today. The last hit I just wanted to take got scooped up while I was reading the terms.....signals time for sleep. Night turkers. See you tomorrow.
