You are looking to see which company is providing the technology, don't focus too much on the license signings. Some times the way they word the license agreement isn't enough to tell.

There are some things I've learned doing these hits. I didn't know the Almighty Apple actually used so many things designed by other companies. LOL

 

Sometimes, but not always, I will have this forum window open in 2 tabs. 1 tab = what is going on right now, at this time. 2nd tab = say I get on here and the page count is up to 25? I open up this 2nd tab, AND START GOING BACKWARDS, through the posts.

Ok, time to post my two cents.

The images are not a problem. The video is not a problem. Each of these items use the bandwidth of the place where they are stored. For instance, everytime you embed a youtube clip, YOUTUBE takes a hit on bandwidth. The only thing that really eats up at the website and it's precious storage of bandwidth is the posts we place, the members and lurkers, and our many precious avatars that we have (because these are housed by the site). EVERY TIME we hit refresh, we take more and more bandwidth. and I KNOW that we all refresh constantly to get those great hits.

That being said, our images and videos and even the idle chit chat keeps this site lively, fun and ACTIVE.

The problem are the ones that, as was said before, can sift through websites for hits like they are nothing, and expect us to just hand them hits left and right and not have a little fun.

Sit back and take a real good look at the members that are on. The FEW that do post hits and the MANY that just take.

I'm sorry, but I think that if Granit wants to post an image, he should have the right. After all, he contributes a TON of hits, he should be allowed a little fun.

Now, I post hits when I can, and I rarely post anymore like I used to due to my work schedule and the holidays. Personally, get rid of the thanks system and give me back my pictures. I post hits because I want everyone to succeed. Just the fact that you are doing them after my posting them is thanks enough.

I am standing in protest of this change as well with Sin and Granit.
