google "[name of university] course catalog" or "[name of university] course descriptions"
sometimes you have to go to the university and go to the list of departments and programs and check courses from each program's page. then on the page for the dept/program there should be a link to 'courses' or 'course descriptions'

EDIT: also, quick tip for people doing the current batch, watch out for united states military academy vs united states naval academy, i think i just submitted a naval course for a military course, easy to miss if you're going fast...

Google University Name + Department. Look for Current Student tab. Most of them have Course Descriptions or Listings. That or Google the Course Catalog for the University.

Almost did the same myself already, luckily I remembered the USNA has a weird as hell course abbreviation structure.

I don't have a problem finding the course catalogs, it's finding the courses themselves. Embedded Systems, Natural Language Processing, Computer Security, Computer Vision. I can rarely find those types of courses. Frustrating for me.

I don't know then. It could just be me but every time I clicked a bubble it would erase the previous answer. So only one question could be answered out of the fifty that were on the page.

Those things are usually listed in the description, but have nothing to do with the name. Which makes it tricky to find sometimes. I don't think I would find anything without using ctrlF to find those things in the small print.

Thanks sasquatch. That's what I was doing to search, however, I can't seem to find the exact course or anything similar. I keep hoping that I will find a few universities that I can keep pulled up and just look for those as that seems to work for some ppl.

Is anybody else trying these Steven Zhang HITs? They seem really, really, simple.

NLP is usually covered under Artificial Intelligence of some sort, security course should be littered around, computer/machine vision should be some sort of variation of Digital Image Processing or something to that effect.

Those are fairly rare, and not even too common at tech schools. don't sweat it. natural language processing and computer vision are often part of artificial intelligence courses, and computer security sometimes doesn't have its own course but is instead part of other courses that have a security component. same with embedded systems in electrical engineering, more often than not its treated as a subtopic in a course about microprocessors or systems design/engineering rather than on its own.
