I am fairly new here and have some pending approval hits from over 2 weeks ago. What is the time limit for them to be approved or rejected? If they Requester never approves or rejects then do you just loose that pay. Thought I read somewhere after a month it automatically approves and you get paid? Thanks for any help!

Yeah. Requesters have up to 30 days to approve or reject and if they don't do either then Amazon automatically approves them.

I use an Auto-Approval script that I first found here. It adds a section to the HIT preview that tells you what the requester's auto approval time is set for. For some, it is the whole thirty days, but some of them are far lower than that.

Check out this thread. There's some awesome resources on the Scripts board here.

If you can tell me which requester it is I can look up the auto approval time for you. I have been building a huge spreadsheet list just for these situations.

Interesting. You mean TO? Remember, those TO reviews are written by other Turkers.

It's an ongoing problem with TO that people rate requesters down for not paying in a day or so. It is Amazon's rule that they have 30 days to pay, so for example, it's absurd to say someone's a bad requester because they don't pay in two days or even three. How many real-world jobs will pay that fast, after all?

I would suggest reading (not just glancing at the average bars on, but reading) the TO reviews on any requester you're really interested in. Remember, requesters can scam TO if they wish, just like any other system. Also, sometimes requesters have bad TO but for no good reason than a single pissy reviewer.

I guess what I'm saying is that I find TO works well if you remember it's basically a social information source, like Yelp. That's all it's meant to be.

Ok, I gotcha and thanks so much for your help, my main concern was getting paid if they never approve it but I can wait a month if i have to so long as it gets paid!
