Do you run 2 hit scrapers in separate windows and watch them both, or do you use the same setup for batch and surveys? The way I have my scraper setup is good for surveys but the batches don't even show up.
Lots of people use two scrapers, one for each. But I prefer everything all on one. Just have to find what works for you. That said, I do still use two scrapers. One logged in and one logged out.
When I look for batches, yes, but I don't do a whole lot of batches. If I find one I like, I move it to TM to keep an eye on future posts by that requester. You really just have to build up a list of ones you like to work for. Everyone is different. I personally don't mind some of the transcription HITs, but I know they are nonstarters for many people.
There's one up right now. I use Hit Scraper in a different browser. When it dings, I peek at it. When it doesn't, I do other shit. My method probably isn't ideal, though. You could also add your favorite requesters to TM and you'll get a desktop notification when they post something.
