That happened to us last year. Landlord told us to leave if we were so unhappy with the house. We put in our notice to move out and we refused to pay rent for the next two months.
Pretty sure that isn't legal. I actually wanted to tell one of my tenants that because he was in a trailer and we give him a month on rent for free because he is supposed to treat the roof every year and last year he took his free rent and didn't do the job. Not only did I have to get all the mold out and replace everything that was damaged, but I had to do the work myself that he had been paid for. I had even bought the treatment, on top of his free rent and dropped it off, and it was gone, but the roof wasn't done. Guess who's rent is getting raised this Summer?
LOL, sup dork. Being, no. I don't hire people, but might in the future when I get my business set up. But I've freelanced with a few people. Right now mostly data collection, but graphic design in the past.

Anybody have pandas handy for the Campbells so I can make a vain attempt to get some expiring strays? Of course they posted while I was on the way to work.
Wish Campbell posted those big batches on Monday. I made a buck on em and they were a third of the size as today. Oh well. If anything else halfway decent drops should be an easy $200 dollar day.
Holy shit! This makes no sense to me. The damage to the property is going to be so much more expensive in the long run, even possibly having to tear the place down. Tenants have a lot more rights than people would think. We even have a tenant now that was given $100 a month off of his rent for a year, in the contract, on the agreement that he would replace the front porch. He never did it and then last month they found out someone he was subletting to (against the terms of the lease) was a...child predator. They turned him in and CPS came out and the town forced us to replace the porch, despite it being in the lease that he had already been paid for it. Now I am stuck trying to get my $1200 back, which I will never see. Renting to people sucks 80% of the time, but no matter how bad it is, you can't leave people in conditions that could kill them and it's never wise to put your property at risk.
