Umm, the question isn't answered. for the cold play song I've seen yes and no. The OP doesn't tell me which is which. I have to figure it out on my own.

By how fast the HITs went. (there were 130, I did one in less than a minute and they were gone) I'm guessing that the HITs don't have multiple questions per person, even if they do, I believe he was just giving an example. Not trying to give everyone the answers.

Even if it WERE a catch question, with 2k HITs, and them disappearing within minutes, I don't see it likely that anyone trying to make a script, or to remember it from batch to batch would GET that actual question.

Also, How do you know it's a catch question? Yes, it's blatantly obvious, but it looks like to me, they have a software that looks for keywords such as "clock" then asks us to sift through them all. The HIT I did (I did two, but accidently didn't accept the second DOH!) were ALL nonsense. Not a one of them had anything to do with the actual movie it was asking about.
So, were all 8 of those catch questions? In two HITs?

Lastly, "Are you slow or something?" is quite rude when someone may or may not have made a mistake. Creating a hostile environment is not something we should do on a public forums. We want people to feel welcome here (yes i'm new, but it's not my first forum) especially as we are all working for the same goal. The more the merrier when it comes to finding a good job quickly. (yep, darn right a good job will go down in seconds, but you may never know about half of them. Better to get 10 of each good job, than none of none.)

P.S. By quoting him/her, AND flaming him/her you've brought even MORE attention to the post. Not only DUPLICATING what you say is a "mistake", but now if that person deletes his/hers, yours is still up until you delete. Making it last LONGER, and be burned into the memory of people for THE REST OF ETERNITY!

Ok, perhaps i've gone a little dramatic, but as i'm still new here, being my 3rd or 4th active day, seeing something that in my mind is so rude just pisses me off. It also makes me frowny face at the way people treat each other. You disappoint.

Yeah, this is a pre-sentiment judge task, I'm pretty sure, and they're working with a limited number of brands/keywords.

    Booty needs to chill.

I'm sorry, I know you haven't read my post (it's a novel!) but you are really getting under my skin with this issue.

You're quote of his/her supposed "mistake" is still up. Had he/she deleted theirs yours would still be up.

I for one commend Chaos for the example. It actually took me a minute to figure out what they were talking about. I think requesters should see his example and LEARN from it! They don't always give examples, or good ones that lead to more rejections.

I'm done, I'm not following this post anymore. Just your tone, choice of words, and the way you went about this really puts me in a rage.

How the hell is it a "catch?" I gave an example to clarify the instructions, each keyword is reused for several posts across several different HITs. Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes the answer is no. I gave an example as to what would constitute a "no" answer. I gave the song Clocks by Coldplay because it is one of the keywords that is used in several hits, and gave an example of when the answer would be no. Either way you have to read the specific post it is referring to, because sometimes the answer would be yes.

L M F A O! Did you ever consider why it's the keyword in "several cases"? Did you stop and realize hey, this keyword is different than the other 2 in the HIT that are the same? Common sense should be labeled a superpower.

They apparently have a limited number of clients. The keywords were pretty much ALL repeated under different contexts. Some with the correct answer being yes, and some No.

You're right, way too long. Apology accepted. Glad to see I got some blood pumping though ;)

I don't. Judging whether something is mentioned in a post is not that hard. Especially when what you're looking for is highlighted. Giving even one answer is still cheating. Saying "It was only one!" is still. fucking. cheating. Get over yourselves -- if you're that worried about a rejection, test the waters. Use a generic example, not an actual example of the HIT. Especially a fucking quality control question.

    That's just peachy, HAGN! xo

You know, there's another forum out there where your knee-jerk "SCAMMER" inaccurate accusations would fit in better.

Have you considered seeing if you liked it better there?

I don't think you guys are understanding. The point of this task is to PERSONALLY JUDGE whether you think a keyword is used. If you can't do that on your own, don't do them! Seriously! The whole point of the catch questions is to see A.) if you're paying attention, and 2.) if you know wtf you're doing. If you can't do the catch questions, you shouldn't be doing the HITs. Buh bye.

Yeah, but...it wasn't a catch questions. It was a client-keyword in rotation in many different contexts, sometimes with the answer being yes, and sometimes with the answer being no.

Why don't you just apologize and move on?

Hopefully that means you'll move on to a place that's a better fit for you.
    Said place exists. Seriously.

I've been doing these for a long time. They use the same catch questions over and over again. Yes, it was.

Not a snowball's chance in hell babycakes. Not when I'm right. :)

Again, it was NOT a catch question, so I have no idea why you keep incessantly using that phrase. In fact I didn't even give a specific post, I just said that in the instance that the post is about actual clocks and not the song, then the answer is no. How is that a catch question? I won't wait for a response, because it's NOT. Feel free to keep being a condesending bitch if you want, even though you're clearly clueless here.

    I don't believe you, but I guess that's irrelevant.

I could say more on the ethics of what you've posted regarding "calling out" GoldStandard/QC questions as such, but I won't.
But if anyone deserves reprimanding, it's the person who says "Hey! This is a GS/QC question!"

(FWIW, I saw that same keyword in various contexts, sometimes with the answer being yes, and sometimes with the answer being no. Hence my skepticism about your motives here.)
