I just started today and I am wondering how long it takes for your HITs to be approved or rejected? Also, how do you get more qualifications met to be able to do more HITs? Thanks!
1) it all depends on the requester. some are fast and some take their time. you shouldn`t worry too much about it. 2) always look for all hits and if you see them marked with "Take qualification test" you can try to get the qual. Other HITs require you to do HITs to qualify for later work. These mention this usually in the title or description. Last option is that quals are auto-granted like most from ProductRnR. Simply click on "request qualification" and you have them. But beware, some quals are old and requesters do not need more workers at the moment. Then you can request the qual, but usually do not hear back. Last option is getting numbers up, since some HITs require you to have a specific amount of approved work
Thank you for the information! I am excited to get this going but I am having a hard time finding HITs that are not taking 20-30mins to complete for $.25. How do you find the HITs that pay more but are not scams or master qualified required? I made like $14 yesterday but I feel like I spent all day doing it. From what I have read it shouldn't be like that. Am I doing something wrong?
usually, good HITs are postef here in the daily threads. if you look for yourself you should check a requesters Turkopticon (look here for some basic stuff on scripts, it is important and makes life easier). Rest is mostly having practice with HITs, some essential quals and some luck

maybe some bad luck with the timing the new days thread usually starts with gifs and images. people post alot of good stuff, but only a little later in the day. nevertheless, since it is a thread where most of forum time is spend, you will find some offtopic there. just follow the thread and you will get good stuff. best advice is to expand the view to show 20+ post per page
Hi everyone, I'm new to turking. I think I started a month ago and have about 900 hits so far. Is 1000 hits the mark when you start getting more hits available to you or do I have to wait til I have 5000? Thank you. Another question: why is that on some HITs the page is blank? I'm trying to do ones by Arguello but when I accept the HIT it is blank. They don't have any qualifications are far as I can tell.
Hello and welcome to the forum, TitusPullo! 1. Yes, the more HITs you do, the more HITs are available to you. The thresholds are, as you guessed, 1000, 5000, and 10000, though there do seem to be some that require even higher numbers. The common advice is to not worry as much about money until you have at least 5000 HITs approved. The lovely Bella wrote up a thread with advice on getting your numbers up. 2. The Arguello thing is a common question: look up in your address bar (Firefox on the left, Chrome on the right) and you'll see a little shield icon. Click that, load the unsafe scripts, and the HIT will load for you.

I'm sure this has been asked 1,000 times... but I'm new, with 241 approved HITs. I'm looking to find HITs that are decent money and/or go quickly so I can build my numbers. Any help of direction is greatly appreciated. Happy Turking all!

Me too! I have read through other posts it may take awhile but this time around it just seems very sluggish. I've been trying to avoid them for awhile til the hits clear.

they tend to have really different approval times. sometimes they are fast and approve within an hour and sometimes they wait till AA. Nothing to worry about
is it ok to post as a requester here? i am getting charged 25% commission rather than the usual 10% any reason why this could be?
