I was chugging along doing some HITs from one requester. I got a screen that said I have exceeded...(I don't know what the rest said.) then it was gone and I got the next hit in line.
Did I do too many HITs and won't get paid for anymore? Can I still do them if they are served to me?

That depends on the HIT. If it specifically says you can only do 10 then you need to stop. Anything after 10 will get you rejected. If it doesn't say anything about limitations, it should be fine.

That happens sometimes when doing batches. Suddenly it'll say there's no more then you try again and you get in again and do more.

Yeah it's super weird. Like, I don't even have time to read the screen before it goes away and feeds me the next hit. It seems to say "You have exceeded..." but I can't catch it before it goes away. Maybe I did it too quick.

If you are seeing that "You have exceeded..." yes, that usually means you were doing it too quick or refreshing too often. We call it PREs. Page Refresh Errors.

I'm here to review and warn people of a terrible requester by the name of "Q marketing". First he false advertises his hits by saying they're only 3 mins to complete when in reality it's 10+ minutes worth of writing, then he rejects people's hits over the silliest things which is usually a malfunction error on his end. If anyone sees "Q marketing" hits please report and save yourself from the hassle.

Hey guys - I have been out of the loop for a while and boy have things changed. There used to be a script to make sure that you didn't do the same HIT twice. Is there still one or was that incorporated in the amazon update? It seems like the greatest hits thread has sort of died too. I downloaded the MTsuite, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at yet. I prefer transcriptions and surveys, but I'm really not that picky.

    Hi welcome back!

That used to be the HIT Database. That script no longer works since Mturk switched over. MTSuite has a built in HIT database where it'll tell you whether you've done it or not in the HIT Finder. You can also check to see if you've done the HIT or check history of your HITs manually in the HIT Tracker which is included in the MTS. People of migrated to other forums, chat rooms or Facebook so there's not many people in one place like it used to be.

Feel free to join us in the great HITs thread and ask us any other questions you may have. We'll be glad to help.

I guess somewhere out there is an explanation of MTSuuite? I remember the learning curve the last time I was into this.

There are also settings that you can tweak at the top of the MTSuite HitFinder page, next to "Block list" and "include list."
