    Hey everyone, I rarely ever post here, but in this instance I thought I could possibly be helpful. I logged onto my Amazon Payment account today to find that my bank account was no longer verified. After scouring this forum and a few others I realized that I wasn't the only person dealing with this. I contacted Amazon Payments and got this response...

    This is Ashley from Amazon Pay. If you don't have a digital copy, please fax a copy of your recent bank statement on bank letterhead to 206-765-3424 or 1-800-887-0540. You can also use the website HelloFax.com. When faxing your bank statement, please make sure that it includes the following information:

    -Account holder's name
    -Billing address
    -Account Number
    -E-mail address (this can be written on the statement)

    If you don't have a copy of your statement, you can send us a letter from your bank that includes the above information.

    Verifying your bank statement can take 1-2 business days to complete. Our account specialists will send you an e-mail when they have finished reviewing your information.

    Looks like I fall into the need to verify group. I'm glad I did a transfer early this morning before they decided to 'unverify' accounts.




    Update: It was actually pretty quick and easy to verify my bank. Bluebird wants a statement so I guess I'll do that another day since I transfer to both.

    Bluebird is what I use for Amazon Payments. Was your second account a personal account? I guess I could add another, I just didn't want to do anything that would set off any alarms with Amazon Payments.

    Hello Parro.

    I use all my paws too. My mother taught me how to type using QWERTY method. My sons use few fingers randomly or something and yet type just as fast.

    You can also print your statement from the account online. I would black out everything with a black marker except what they need. The numbers in your account are not their business. Better yet, just cut the bottom of the statement off and send them the top.

    I've developed a pretty fast system using my 2 middle fingers, while looking at the keyboard. Then I proofread. It's called the QUIRKY method. Sometimes I'm missing something on the screen while I watch the keyboard.

    Thank you, but it's OK. I've already sent them a digital copy. I'm not particularly worried about what they will learn about my meager earnings. I'm more worried that the situation will not be resolved. Although I guess there are other avenues. I can just verify a new account. I hope.

    It puzzles me that even the customer service reps at Amazon Pay have no idea why this happened though.

    My bank account is a personal account. I originally only used bluebird but later added my bank account. I'm guessing you can't do instant verification with bluebird because of the security question. My bank has 2 step verification also but it lets me make a special password for apps and such to bypass the security question. I'll know if everything was seamless when I do my next transfer.
