That's pretty much the bare minimum you'll see offered on a writing platform. It's not by any means good pay or professional writing rates. It's just what most super cheap clients can manage to get away with paying, lol. Now, if you want to compare it to a professional writer's rates, some get $1 per word. Or more.

I just received the qual for Ycharts and was doing a bunch of their HITs when all of a sudden I couldn't do them anymore. I checked my account and a lot were saying my number was increasing but a few said that the consensus did not agree with me. I honestly don't know how I did any of those wrong.
Yeah, I wonder if it's the ones that I actually had to do more than a click to find the answer for that are the ones the consensus didn't agree with. There were also a couple that I had to "pick a country" for. I don't like this consensus business. I'm at 102 but it's gone up and down a few times.

I honestly have no idea what the General consensus is, I went from 140 to 30 by doing about 50+ hits. Sometimes you also get hits in foreign languages, which is kinda annoying and kills the groove.

I just lost my qual because people are being too lazy to click the english button on foreign language sites. I found news pages that others returned a does not exist for. This is why I hate majority rules. You put more work into it, but are the only one to find the correct answer, and are wrong based on what the majority says. Often, the requester won't even 2nd check when you remind them of this. I wrote a nice email asking them to re-check and then to let me know their findings. I was actually returning the ones that I didn't find a news page for, so they can't say I picked "does not exist" and that someone else found it. We'll see.
Are these the Ycharts? The ones I was doing asked me to find the url for a company's press releases webpage. The only thing I could think was that I left the URL spot blank if I found the same site they did which they said to do. Then I clicked yes for if I felt I completed the requirements of the HIT.
Yeah, I was only doing the ones that did not already have a page listed. From those I threw back any that I couldn't find a page for. So every hit of mine had a news page listed. I got an email that said I did 5 in a row correctly and got a bonus. Then I noticed the "We are sorry, but it appears that the consensus did not agree with you. Your YCharts Quality Score has decreased " message start appearing on my dashboard. After paying attention to which hits it was, every one of them is for a page that I had to switch from another language to English. I did this using whatever button appeared on the page itself, sometimes it was just the word "English" other times it was a UK or American flag. Every one of them was something like www.sitename.to/EN/News or similar. Check yes that I believed I completed the hit as required, submit. Every single hit that I did like that says majority doesn't agree.
Do you have your start page as the default mozilla start page? That's the only thing I can think of. Mozilla is promoting Humble Bundle's latest main bundle, because they're involved in it.
