HITs Submitted 39154 — ... Approved 38848 99.8% ... Rejected 66 0.2% ... Pending 240 99.2% Not overly impressive but 1/2 of those rejections are from a bogus batch. Some people have gotten masters with barely 3000.
Yeah and I have 150k with 10 rejects. 39k is an OK number but not super amazing. If you look carefully that guy has 349k hits submitted that is definitely a point I can see really bitching about masters 39k is only a wow this is annoying point and yeah it sucks that some get it with 3k but you know what can you do.
Oh it's frustrating and in this case slightly demoralizing, no question, but I understand everyone has to pay their dues in their own way. That's why I'm backing off being salty and letting others enjoy their newfound quals.
Except a rejection doesn't necessarily mean that you're a bad worker. There are requesters who simply reject entire batches and never come back to AMT. There's nothing you can do about it. That's what I don't get about all these rejection-averse people. The only thing that bothers me about rejections is not being fairly compensated for time spent on a given HIT. A ton of Masters batches are no TO requesters because they're often new and it defaults to masters. Wouldn't Amazon want someone willing to take risks and help Amazon's bottom-line than someone who clearly chooses their batches with a fine tooth comb?
