Morning all! Today is my 5th day Turking! Here's to being half way done with the probationary period! =-D
Welcome. That time at the beginning of turking can seem pretty terrible at times but it will get better.
What's everyone working on? I am doing some more ProjectRnR "school safe images" HITs for 6 cents a pop.. with the script i have i can do each hit in about 30 seconds.. not great but not terrible for a new turker i guess?
Thanks man. It hasn't been too bad of a start for me. I've made about 20 bucks in my first 4 days, but about 40% isn't approved yet and 1 day i didn't do my max of 100.
My beer gut. And nothing is exactly that "terrible" when you're on probation and hard capped on the number of HITs you can do. If you plan to turk in the next 23 hours though you might want to leave some room for nice paying surveys or something, just in case, and then max out near midnight pacific again.
Good advice, thanks. I usually spread my Turks out over the day for this very reason. I have 15 out of my 100 done so far (been up since reset) and will gradually do more as the day goes on.
I wish i had the 1k quantity prerequisite to try them out.. seems legit and TO is giving a great review.

I wish Percy would post during the day time when my brain is functioning and better able to logically string together what they're asking. Funnily enough, I can write decently right now if I'm just writing fiction, but my brain just fumbles over following their rules for the most part. Mostly I think I just write slow, so I don't like doing writing tasks.
Right! That and I also type very slowly and badly. I'm horrible at it really so I avoid most writing tasks.
I just got silly with one of them, hopefully they don't reject it. I hope they have a sense of humor.

The secret code is on the last page of the linked survey. ...Until that Requesters figures out what on earth they are doing wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The hit was rejected based on the code they gave me, issue is still not resolved.... I'm not HAPPY!
Because 2500 writing hits don't disappear in the 2 minutes it took me to do one of them. There were only 500 gone since you first posted about them.
