This post is everything. People don't get any of my decisions. Why did I quit my 14 dollar an hour factory job? Because I wanted to. I wanted to do my own thing. Screw what other people think. Now the bills get paid through turk and I get to sit around and watch netflix all day. XD Win. The moment you start living for yourself is the moment you really start living.
Sounds like you need to cut the negative people out of your life, at least for awhile. Hope things get better, do what you enjoy dont get down on yourself lifes too short!

Yeah it's just a mindset I think...like they want you to be cookie cutters of them. Make the "right" decisions. Society at its finest. I think the reason entrepreneurs are so successful is because they don't think this way. You know, be something more than someone else's worker drone. Work towards your own goals.
I feel this, sooo much. I have members of my family that I used to be close to that I no longer speak to at all because they somehow decided that they should run everyone's life. They always had an opinion...about my job, how I raised my kids, what I bought. It got to the point that I was so fed up with them, every time they would start bitching about what I was/wasn't doing, I would ask them which of my bills they were going to pay. If you aren't paying my bills, your opinion of my life doesn't matter.
