It's starting to get good. I've been watching it on Hulu+ along with other shows. I would download buuut I want that 1080p resolution.
I did it too. 13 minutes. All those penny hits makes me feel like taking a chance on an iffy TO. Hi Mouse. I'm in Portland too. It looks like tomorrow is a soaker.
Batten down the hatches! I'm north of you guys, and while I tend to miss a lot of the wind events (though not always), I'm sure I'll get just as much rain as you do. Looks like a very wet week ahead.
I'm on the east side so we have winds travel down the Columbia River Gorge. I'm always worried about gigantic Doug Firs falling on my house. Are you in Washington? We are in such a beautiful part of the country. Shiver.
I'm in Lewis County. A couple of years ago, I had some trees taken down (several fir, a cedar, and a couple of maples that were kind of in the way of taking down the others) that were just up on the hill behind my house. They weren't just close to the house - the hillside had eroded some and the roots on a couple of them were exposed. So I decided they needed to come down. I still need to finish getting them cut up for firewood. But, yeah, the Pacific Northwest is the best! As far as winds coming down the Gorge - I grew up in The Dalles. I'm pretty sure the wind blows there at least 300 days out of the year. (The beach should be an interesting place to be over the next few days - very stormy.)
There is mention of this earlier in the thread I believe, but I cant remember where. You have to switch something in one of the lines of code. Sorry I dont remember more than that. i quit using it because it sends so many requests to MTurks server that I could not use it with a bunch of page monitors.
I moved to Portland from the coast this past December. I was lucky enough to live there for 5 years. So beautiful, and I loved the wind. I always told people that the wind was good because it blew away the clouds. My dog and I would walk the beach just about every day. The only weather she objected to was hail--didn't understand why she was being pelted.
I love the beach and always wanted to move there, although to be honest, I think the rain would have been more than I could take. There are times "inland" where I have a hard time handling what seems like never ending days of it and I'm afraid I would have a hard time living where there's even more of it than there is here. And maybe even more than the rain, I think the tourists would drive me nuts. lol
In chrome, right-click the Tampermonkey toolbar icon > left-click Options > left-click Installed userscripts > left-click queue order fix > click Replace > type /images in first input > type /media in second input in ff click downtriangle to the right of the greasemonkey toolbar face > manage userscripts > click options under queue order fix > edit this user script > copy and paste everything to notepad > in notepad, hit ctrl+h > enter /images in 'Find what' and /media in 'Replace with' > click replace all > copy all notepad contents and paste in greasemonkey and save
I understand about the tourists but the rain doesn't bother me. It makes that rare sunny day even sweeter. Last year I took my daughter to a Californian beach. She wanted to bring her coat and blanket. I told her we needed to get to the beach early before it got crowded. She said, "Beaches get crowded?"
I lived in Portland for a year before I moved to the coast. Honestly, Portland was more depressing. I didn't see the sun from November to mid-June. The coast gets bigger downpours, I think, but the wind really does blow the clouds away. We'd at least get a peek most days. I'm from Virginia Beach--tourists don't faze me!
Haha! Yeah, I was south of Newport and just north of Waldport. I'd have to leash my dog up once in a while because there were actually people on the beach. We usually had it all to ourselves. I lived across the street from the ocean--I would never have been able to afford that on a teacher's salary back east.
Yeah but it'll take a while to find the lines where its outputting the hits and I'm kinda busy turking because midnight is fast approaching
