    Since when was 60k a year a "low" paying job? That is the higher tier of middle class.

    I donate 100% of what i earn with mTurk to charity (about 4500/yearish) giving me a tax deduction a lot greater than the donation.

    60K is pretty low.

    If you have a spouse or partner bringing in a second income it's doable but I can't see surviving in the long run on only 60K a year.

    By the way, my father is an Electrical Engineer, and my mother was a Teacher. It's a damn fine thing my father didn't have the same arrogant attitude that my mother didn't have a "real" career. She brought in over $50,000 a year TWENTY YEARS AGO, in a small town. So much for your theory.

    Doesnt matter... charity gets 4500 and I save 12k off taxes... its a good deal for both parties.
