Can't find good HITs? 10/18

I have been doing hits from Crowdflower "Classify IIIE" I have done over 400 of them. Problem is I have been unable to do anymore in two days because it is still stuck on the percentage I had last time and then telling me how many I got wrong then telling me no longer able to do these as I got too many wrong but that was in the beginning and since then I've dont them better and correctly. I have emailed Crowdflower and have not yet recieved a response. Do they respond?

 

bah, 27, and i aced the first 2 tests previously. stupid quality

 

I would not count on them responding. I e-mailed them 2 weeks ago about something and got an auto response that they would get back to me and I am still waiting

 

This guy makes us to do the qual test for each and every batch of his HITs.

I'm out of the running on those. The quality checks were frequent and stupid. I didn't have time to memorize them all before I was below 65%. Bastards.

Also, if somebody says "invisalign owww fml" that isn't neutral, Crowdflower. They are saying the braces HURT FUCK MY LIFE, which makes that a NEGATIVE sentiment.

That was the end of my morning rant. Thanks for letting me get that off of my chest.

I also got a 27 for GIULY. 22 minutes more to do the retest. I definitely know which question I got wrong, Q. no. 32. Eagerly waiting for the timer to reset.

 

Trust me, I have bitched about every one of their comments that they said I've gotten wrong

 

I'm so agitated about these that it actually prompted me to stop lurking and register just so I could commiserate. I did a ton of the music video sentiments with almost no issues (staying in the 97-98% accuracy range no problem) but this one and the Canadian Tire one are chock full of completely erroneous sentiments and after going below 70% on one and 80% on the other I just gave up. It was starting to tick me off very badly. Someone saying they're at Candian Tire on foursquare is not positive, CF.

UGH...just got cut off from the sentiment analysis-canadian tire HITs.

I'm seriously freezing this morning...got a little electric heater plugged in and seriously thinking of putting on some gloves...haha

 

I have had the same problem with those. I could really fly through them, but then the interface would bug out on me. The short answer is, no, they do not respond. If you send them an email through mTurk, they will tell you that they no longer answer these emails. They want you to sign up for their site and post the issue on there. I have done that too, with no response.

 

Yeah bummer for that. Qualified last 2 times, failed in this one,

Did 138 crowdflower hits with a 94% accuracy and they cut me off.

Welcome to the board! I had just started working the Canadian Tire Hits but my anxiety is so high waiting for the inevitable "Some of your answers aren't what we expected" screen that I should probably just quit before I have a heart attack and die in this chair. I don't want my family to find CF on the computer screen and me sitting at a 70% approval rate. It would be humiliating, to say the least.
