My heart always skips a beat when I finish the survey with no code at the end only to find on the original page it said to paste your worker ID.
Hey now!! I keep the forums up in a separate tab (probably like others do) because I like the company while I work. It can be humorous and it can bring a break to the repetitive HITS. I think of it as saving me from going completely insane looking at the same stuff all day.
Mturk is such a tiny fraction of what Amazon does, probably a good 99% of their employees do not know anything about it. Your best bet is if you have questions go to https://www.mturk.com/mturk/contactus Use that form and they will usually reply to you within 24 hours.
Is anyone getting repeats on some of these CS sentiment HITs? Seems like they are cycling and I'm reading the same articles.
What I did was went to "Hits assigned to you" before it expired. When you expand the description there is a link to message the requester.

Usually when the same article pops up a few times it's asking for the sentiment of a different company.
I don't know that crowdsource actually rejects work, they will just cut you off at some point. At least I have never had a rejection from them. They will just cut you off from their jobs.
I open them both at the same time so that I don't have to wait for one, then open the next one and wait. Then I do whichever loads the fastest.
Here's my handy dandy BPCM ZIP code list: ---------------------------------------------------- atlanta: 30303 boston: 02108 charlotte: 28202 chicago: 60601 dallas: 75201 denver: 80012 houston: 77002 las vegas: 89044 los angeles: 90001 miami: 33109 New york: 10001 philadelphia: 19102 phoenix: 85003 san francisco: 94102 seattle: 98101 washington dc: 20001 -------------------------------------
hmm I've heard that about crowdflower but never about crowdsource. I sure hope that's the case so I don't need to worry about these sentiment hits.
