Wow it's slow tonight. I think I'm going to watch TV which I rarely ever do and then go to sleep! I've been digging for a while and found very little to do. I have usually made way more money by now... I guess I'll start all back over in the morning! Hopefully they'll be some new HITs, maybe some good batch hits too. I only made 28 today and that's not good for me. Good luck everyone! I hate the weekends on MTurk.. it seems it slows way down to a snail's pace!

    Oops. Bad posting.

Edit: I made $139 one day. There were some ridiculous $1.25 HITs where you judged who was leader and who antagonistic and so forth. There were a TON of them, and I kept notes as soon as I realized that the chats were repeated over and over. It was awesome.

CMU still has their $2 survey up. I did it yesterday and it was really easy.

Seems to be empty. All I can hope is we get some cell HITs up sometime next week. Im setting a $20 goal assuming I get home by 1PM today.

Not a whole lot out there right now. I caught up on some surveys that were posted last night that I missed. I was watching a movie and didn't get to Turk as much. :)

Otherwise, I was just doing some Redwoods this morning.

Just a heads up for those that don't know. When it is slow like this on the forum, I've found that Reddit's HitsWorthTurkingFor subreddit usually has some stuff in the mornings. During the day, this forum is typically better for finding hits, but considering there are only a few of us on here it is worth checking over there from time to time.

Here is a link to the subreddit, sorted by newest submitted to oldest. I find that to be the best way to look at this particular subreddit.

    http://www.reddit.com/r/HITsWorthTurkingFor/new/?sort=new

Yes, the adf.ly links are stupid and I hate them, but whatever. It's worth it to get some money in the slow periods of the day.

You don't have to click the adfly links.. I never have when I venture to HWTF. I just copy the requester's name from the post and paste it into mTurk.

Yeah that does work. Most of the time I'm just lazy and wait the 5 seconds though. :)

Is there anything worth doing out there at all? I've done all the stuff I missed from last night that was still up, done all the Reddit post hits, maxed out on CrowdSource Google rankings stuff, and there doesn't seem to be any Redwoods up at the moment. I'm at an utter loss for something to work on.

I have a question, how can you set up a turk alert for a requester you never were able to do anything for, say like two lakes? I always miss them and therefore cannot get their requester #

It's pointless to try to use turk alert for two lakes. By the time you get the email, the hits are gone.

You have to luck into a two lakes batch. No other way to do it.

Thanks, I set it up anyway, at least I'll know when I miss them. LOL

Is there anyone else that's good to set up an alert for?
