I never go for those anymore. I had multiple experiences where I've completed surveys with no code, and always get booted for not qualifying. I think they're one of the worst requesters on Mturk.

Well for a while I've been having spotty internet connections in various public locations usually ones that require a "sign in" but today I couldn't get the internet to work at all anywhere...except in safe mode. So I found an easy fix and it's now working great but there's an added bonus this fix pretty much shuts down all the crap you have running in the background that other programs have put there that you do not need. So not only is my internet working again but my computer is blazing fast. So if your computer is being sluggish I recommend this.
I never even tried them because I could tell it was just those awful studies under a different name (and I can't remember the original name of the requester who used to put these crap surveys out)

You can always turn off the background junk permanently by doing "Run" (the Run box) type in "msconfig" startup tab Some things have to run in the background, like your firewall and A-V. Shouldn't turn them off. But you don't need many programs that decide to run at startup
Yeah I use CCleaner to periodically check my start up stuff...that by itself didn't work. But that was part of the solution. My Task manager is about half the size now that all the crap I didn't need running in the background is gone.

I know who you're talking about but I can't think of his name. I searched and couldn't find it. He was like 1 in 1000 chance you will qualify for his surveys. Usually around $3.00 if I recall. People would complain they would get booted out in the middle of them.
