For what it's worth I signed up when I lived in the Czech Republic for Mturk. I switched to an American ip address at some point. I used a vpn for awhile and traveled around the world for 6 months. I don't think they care about your ip address. Probably 10 percent of hits eliminate you if you use a vpn, but your expenses will be 50 percent less.
