I'm up here at the tippy top of Washington State, hello to my fellow Turkers. I began turking a couple of weeks ago to earn some extra (Amazon) cash from doing online transcripts. Having fun so far, actually, which I didn't expect. I haven't done any of the fast quick HITs, only half-hour or longer audio transcription jobs, which seem to take way longer than they probably should. I expect I'll get better with more practice.
Hello Poet! Washington is a nice state! The audio transcription jobs, are some of the best paying hits on Mturk. They require patience and diligence. I've tried them before and they're not my cup of tea. And yes they do take a long time! However, I've seen some that offer payouts of $100 or more! Happy Turking!
