I went from a great paying job that sucked, to a great job that sucks in pay. SO in order to regain my soul from the evil corporation of my other job (seriously prayed for power outages everyday so I could miss work-I lived on my savings and now am more broke then a year ago..so I am saving to pay off my credit card debt and also rebuild some saving. I am looking at Mturk as a sort of digital piggy bank where I can see my savings add up- and maybe finally afford to shop a little in the future.
I hate to tell you this, but in no way would I use Mturk account as a savings account. Get a real savings account and deposit the money you make from making Mechanical turk into there so that it can help you earn some interest once you have enough money in there to accumulate some interest! That is the smart thing to do.
NO No I didn't mean it that way! I mean just letting the money add up little at a time as I have time to Turk. Savings in my bank for sure!!
Well, I look at it as turning time into money and don't expect a great gain. But over the year I can work and accumulate the funds in my bank account to be able to pay my taxes twice a year, and it feels really good.
