I emailed them 2 days ago asking what to do for missing words with no response. Of course, that would also include missing sentences.

I did about 60 transcriptions hits last night, mostly sewing. Not really hard to do them correctly! Maybe I'll get to proof my own work as I've done before.

Hey guys - I wanted to just point out something about the knitting and sewing transcriptions since there are a lot right now.

When it comes to knitting & sewing you may hear the person say the word "purl" a lot. It's not spelled "pearl" as you would think. "PURL" is correct here.

Just letting you all know! :)

    P.S.

On the 2 cent Caption Requirement Hits -
Does anyone else have a problem with the pic not loading at all sometimes? I know it often takes a minute, but sometimes they just don't load at all. Is it just me?

There are so many little things that would make everyone's life easier. If people thought about what is being talked about, it would make more sense. If it's about sewing, the word will be pins, not pens. Metal work, it's not medal. A few more:

The word I is always capitalized
You're and your are two different words (almost always you're)
We're and were (almost always we're and I've seen the word well used)
    No ellipses...

If you are typing and the sentence doesn't make any sense, most likely you heard it wrong. Most of the hits I've heard (minus the God awful sports comments) have people talking very clearly and not muddled.

Sorry if anyone takes offense, but I had to bitch.

Also, if there is no audible speech in the hit, I think we are supposed to submit the hit right away... easy money....
Otherwise, they won't be asking this:

I've seen some type "no speech" and "no audio" when I review HITs and I always flag both the words. I think this will give the transcriber a 0% score for that HIT. So, it's better to submit the hit as such if the audio is blank rather than entering the reason.

Yes, that also includes music/background noise/etc. Don't do anything except hit submit and you're done!

Figured out how to highlight everything. Click 3 times anywhere in the box and it's all covered.

EDIT: Never mind, doesn't underline, only highlights. Oh well.

Great work TAC. Lemme try that.

EDIT: Nope. It's not working in Chrome and Firefox. I think you got it wrong. When I triple click it, everything is selected in BLUE as a whole. It's not making a word by word selection in red color.
