Hello, I'm new to the forum and hope someone can help me. Three days ago Turkopticon suddenly stopped working for me. The arrows never show up beside hits. I've tried reinstalling it, updating it, updating my browsers (Chrome & FF), etc., etc. and nothing works. Does anyone know if it's still working? Or can you recommend something which works in the same way? Any help will be appreciated. Even if someone can just reply that it's working fine for you then I'll know it's me and that will help narrow the search for a solution. Thank you! Oh, and before it broke, I had not downloaded or installed anything else new that would have made it stop. It just seems to have randomly stopped working.
THANK YOU!! I've never encountered that before and didn't even notice it. Gah.. ok, everyone else please just ignore my idiotic ranting.
nah you're fine, it's come up pretty frequently. Glad someone actually made a post about it so that others can find the solution.
I was also having trouble with this. Thanks for the tip! Now that Turopticon is working, my color coded search script isn't working. I've reinstalled, etc. with no improvements. Any ideas? Thanks!
TO is working, but the TO pay column isn't functioning in Hit Scraper. Edit: N/m, got it working. Had to change a line in the code. If anyone else is having this issue just edit the code and change: https://api.turkopticon.istrack.in/ to http://turkopticon.ucsd.edu/api/

I had this same problem. Chrome doesn't like TO apparently. I actually really dislike that it will tell you that there are "unsafe scripts", but it won't show you what they are. (Or at least, I can't find out how to get it to show what they are.) It's a bit of a pain having to click that shield so often though. Hopefully something changes somewhere, either in TO or in Chrome, so it's not considered "unsafe" anymore. Either way, at least I know I'm not alone. Thanks for posting!
I installed Miku's version script to my chrome browser. It was working at first, but now I am noticing that it stops working once I narrow my search down. Specifically when I choose a minimum amount for each HIT. Like "Find HITs that pay at least .70". It only stops working when I do that. Hmm.. well it started working. But then I blocked a requester, which made the page auto refresh, and TO disappeared again. So now it just seems like it's happening randomly.
Yep same thing for me. If you let it run with no parameters set it's fine but the second you set a parameter, TO stops working.
Spinner - Are you using Google Chrome? If so. Try adding the Turk from the Chrome app store. I've had that one since forever, it stopped working a few days ago, so I added Mikus. Mikus isn't working correctly, so I tried re-installing the Chrome one and thank god it finally works right. I can't turk without it! Also if you do use that, you have to remember to click that security thing in the search bar to allow unsafe script.
Okay, this is showing my computer inexperience (though up to now thought I was pretty good) when I click on Miku's version what do I do next with the script -- can't get TO to run with latest version of Firefox. Thanks.
Now I don't know if it's a problem with TO or MT -- TO doesn't show up, but javascript application error comes up whenever I click on any hit in MT.
No version is working for me, not even the Miku one. And there's no shield button on my browser to click. I'm stymied. It's not working in Firefox, or in Chrome.
this version works fine for me https://greasyfork.org/scripts/1755-turkopticon/code/Turkopticon.user.js
Same problem here, can't get it to work. Period and I am so frustrated. At first I chalked it up to being a newbie but I see I am not alone. *insert scream here*
