Annnnd, 10 HubPages with bonus brings me to my goal. Gonna stick around a little longer and see if I can make a little more.
Couple tips: It has to have right business and city for all listings to be perfect. If one or more listings is a match but not all of them mark it OK and check i found what i was looking for but some were irrelevant If none of the city's match mark it bad and mark all irrelevant or two far away. If it's blank I usually say bad and check I expected results but didn't get any.(but they sometimes screw me on this one sometimes it is right sometimes not)
Crowdflower doesn't reject. edit: They will block you from certain tasks though if you don't meet the requirements.
NEVER EVER! They will just kick you out if your accuracy falls below 70% on a specific job, and that will only last a day or two than you can try again.
Pays not great but if I'm focused I can do them in about 1:40 which isn't to bad still on that .10/1min threshold but that's underpaid if you ask me!
It's hard to explain the situation that it happens in but every now and then you will get one that the blank results page is "Perfect." If three results pages return results but none are relevant than the blank page is perfect because the search should have returned no results. Let me know if that makes sense. haha it is 2 am so i'm not sure
I'm a brand new Turker. I'd kill to make .10/1min because so far I can't find anything I'm qualified for that I can do with that payrate. I don't know if I'm just not fast enough, I don't have the quals + approved HITS, or because I don't feel comfortable doing writing tasks. I'll take what I can get.
Yeah it's tough at first but your in the right place I didn't join here until I was out of my 10 days would have been nice to be here in my first 10. In a week or two you will be handing out advice with the rest of us once you get out rolling stuff will come to you.
Yup! Just keep plugging away! I have been turking for less than 5 weeks. My first week I made about $20.00 and was thrilled. I did penny batches to get my numbers up and as many surveys as I could. In these 5 weeks I have made over $850.00 and that's not much by some turkers standards.
I'm not quite to that point either. Try and do some smaller HITs to get your numbers up. The more days I've been working the better HITs I've found to do. Also, follow this thread! Everyone helps and posts good surveys to do.
Exactly until you cross 1000 don't worry about the amount your making. I went to get my numbers up as quick as possible to open up as many HITs as I could. Once I got to around 2500 I started thinking more about what I was making and not just trying to get my numbers up. Although it is always good to pad your numbers at times. Allows you more room to test new requesters in the future.
Yes, this thread is so helpful! I've found some of the best hits I've done in this thread. You guys are amazing and I would be totally lost without this forum.
For $0.25 - took 2.5 mins. - no TO - Web Decisions Requester: Johnny Graham https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...sions&minReward=0.00&qualifiedFor=on&x=19&y=3
Yep. Alternating between annoying as hell Oscar hits and CrowdSurf tonight to get as close to 100 HITs for the day as possible. CrowdSurf pays better, but some of those voices are insane! O_O
