Are you kidding or was the batch that good? Today is my last time turking for a good while unless I manage to get up early in the morning. I start job training tomorrow. Turk is just not stable enough income for me. Maybe if ocmp5 gave me qual back but it has been 7 months so that ship has sailed.

Taking a break while my queue fills up again. And it's not like I'm fast. Damn throttling.

I bought a book from Amazon last week and it kept pushing energy and protein drinks. I think I can guess what I'll be seeing next time I buy something.

 

Does amazon have some kind of block in place to keep people from hoarding the tax engine hits? Doing one at a time gets me constantly no hits available. Trying the hoard function and it is hardly getting anything most of the time.

 

I was doing at least 30 a minute. What new job? Ocmp5 is ok but by no means a crutch. If turk was not just supplementary for me I would be nervous too. Turk is not what it once was.

 

The demand must be high, they are getting throttled very badly. Pretty much have to work from queue, but my panda is only catching something one time in ten or so.

I think the logic is if they make it enough of a pain in the ass people will give up and the load on the server will go away. The just don't appreciate how desperate turkers are. All they do is move from people working one at a time without queue to hundreds of people running high speed pandas frantically trying to grab work. Not clear to me how that DECREASES the load on the server.

 

How??? Seriously, my 1 second panda was catching maybe 5 a minute at best.

For whatever reason these aren't throttling today so I'm just doing them the boring old normal way and with the automatic accept next HIT checked off.
