Caught the tedlab HIT overnight, for my sins. Love how they throw in some partial words every once in a while. Still, it's something for a Saturday! Any idea if I can take this, having already done Study C?
Yay! Hope you had enough time to do it after catching it overnight unless you were already awake unlike me. I think someone mentioned you can only do one of the studies.

That kind of makes me glad I had other, more lucrative stuff to do yesterday because I probably would have done loads. Even though I didn't like them. I did four and they are still pending. Fingers crossed! Here is his (annoying to search for) TO page: https://turkopticon.ucsd.edu/reports?id=ANI0BCQ930TME Thanks! Yeah, there were 6 hours left when I saw it so I should be fine! My first one was pretty hard, I almost tossed it. Fairly sure that they can't all be made into sentences, though.
Yeah that's where I saw the rejection but maybe they were lying trying to get people to not do the hits.
Sadly that's a thing. I checked their feedback history and they have a lot of comments about rejections and blocks. Looks like someone to ignore.
I just caught it. Thank you. This and the Word Pair survey means I'm about a 3rd of the way through my day with two surveys.
Ok, halfway done with this beast. I shall take a break and do the World Attitudes Survey. Haha, "break". HOTD right there. Thanks Shadow Rose & Flora!
Back in 2014 I posted a twitter sentiment batch (guess that's when this forum was bigger and had a greater impact). The batch was super easy. Almost two minutes after having posted the hit (seemed like two minutes, could have been longer), two people posted they were getting rejections from the batch. I stopped doing them. But kept monitoring the batch and noticed they were going down pretty fast. Never really check my work completed but noticed they were approving. Posted that fact on the forum. That was the last time I used Turkopticon. (Although bit of hypocrrisy: did continue asking people for TO on certain hits ) Long story short: been about 3 1/2 years since I've used TO. Sure, I've got 7,000 rejections (lol), but vowed to not be suckered again by the fraudsters on TO!
Oh, should also add that TO makes a lot of sense if you do surveys. I focus almost totally on batch work. Don't see the same issue with surveys (once you do them, they are done and you don't have to lie to ward off people like with batches).
Not that many! Here's a little history for you. Probably a couple thousand of them are from a requester call "Photomod" who was a majority rules requester from 2010 to about 2013. Example. Photomod would post a monster .10 batch throughout the day. I would do almost 2300 of them. And suffer 100-150 rejections lol. Made over $200, but I just did not care about the rejections. Another maj rule requester I used to do. (circa 2011-12) was Classify This. etc etc. <<<< Crazy Turker here!
I'd say that is totally acceptable. Those guys were before my time but I'd jump on those in a heartbeat.
:iagree: There is no reason to lie with surveys due to that reason. Now there's another new TO site with more informal guidelines that they're trying to build up. It's empty half of the time because people still use the old TO site.
