I didn't watch it yet. I forgot StarTrek Discovery started last week and had to catch up on that. If my son doesn't drag me to the gym tonight I might watch Curb.
The Orville is the better Trek show. It seriously reminds me of 60s and 70s sci-fi storytelling but with better effects and dick jokes. Even if you aren't a fan of Seth's humor it really does reflect the first time people act like you would expect them to act in those situations. Star Trek Discovery is a whole lot of impressive cinematography but no heart. Roddenberry would be pissed at what Star Trek has become.

I tried to watch The Orville...I made it mostly through the first episode and just couldn't. I like Discovery. But then again I liked Enterprise too..so there's that.
Give the Orville another try...episodes 3 & 4 really shine. I love Scott Bakula but I could not get into Enterprise sadly. I may try again. All the episodes I watched felt like the writers didn't understand how to write for Commander Archer (now that name will of course always make me think of the cartoon) or even understood how to draw on Scott's strengths as an actor. It felt like they wanted him to be Kirk/Shatner but even more flawed.
I'll skip ahead and watch epi 3 then. I like flawed sci-fi really. Hell I watched Andromeda twice. And I liked Enterprise better the second go around too. And yes, Scott Bakula is the best.
