Do you like absinthe? I was excited (and admittedly somewhat nervous) to try it when I was in Prague because of the history of it. I had it straight - they make special spoons that they place a sugar cube on and then light the sugar so that it carmelizes and drips into liquor (not really that much sugar - more of a show thing I think). I thought it was way too strong. Maybe it is different in a mixed drink

Mmmm, I do! But then again, I like most of the anise based liqueurs. Particularly the sambucas. But for this drink, since it is only a dash or two, I decided to sub in some high end ouzo I had sitting here in tiny bottles. Not quite the same but close enough. I didn't want to shell out the bucks for a whole bottle of absinthe for that. Plus the diet thing. Can't have it there tempting me. I think the effect comes out the same, though. An interesting and delicious drink!
Not bad. It's an 8 week class, so they dump a shit ton of information on you in a short period of time.
I'm going to try one more time to complete a "Reconstruct the brain" hit now that they're $2.50. I lose the cell after a couple of minutes every time though.

Got bored/desperate enough to do A9's -- at least they aren't throttling at this time of night. Managed to do 63 before refreshing my dashboard to see how many I'd done. Sigh. And on that note I will call it a night. Hope something that isn't A9 posts for you guys.
