It was kinda scary. Found blood on the floor. Google said it was UTI. Took him to the vet and they confirmed it. Day 2 of the medicine so he's slowly healing. Not eating too well but getting there. His Kidneys aren't great so that might be a problem in the future. How is yours doing?
Mine is still hanging in there. She is an old kitty, so has all kind of stuff going on. I give her subcutaneous fluids daily, and that really helps her most to stay hydrated. I have to give her pills for high blood pressure, but other meds I can inject with fluids. If you ever need info on kidney disease in cats, I know a thing or two. I don't know how old is your cat, but older they become, more likely something goes wrong. Until she purrs and seems to enjoy life, I'll do what I can for her. Antibiotics often put kitties off their food. Not much you can do. Vet can give you Cerenia or Zofran for nausea.
