So has the bitcoin hackers on this site been looked into at all? Is Andy trying to use our CPU to mine bitcoin without us knowing? Maybe it's TJ? That's what it feels like. I'd like answers because that would be enough for me to leave even though I will miss you guys.
Been wondering myself, I get the message that it was blocked but the fact it's happening makes me think about leaving the forum.
Maybe it was Fox. Didn't he buy a fast car with his cryptocurrency proceeds then wreck it and himself? With the latest BTC surge he should be back soon to throw more money around.
Did fox buy the forum from Andy? That would make sense. Someone in charge of this forum is trying to mine bitcoin using our CPU's there is no doubt in my mind which is illegal. The question is who. I wan't to know what's going on.
Andy said it wasn't him. He said he has no need to make money off his site. Apparently the site was hacked. Andy is working on migrating this forum to Xenforo. This coinhive appears on the main page of the forum. It doesn't happen in here, the daily thread. I think our blockers are blocking it.
I don't know Flora something is very fishy about this whole thing. If Andy didn't need to make money off the forum why spam ads for revenue? Why are people coming in here bragging about making money mining cryptocurrency when the only way to make any decent money doing it is to pool or even better use other people's CPU's to mine it for you. Which is exactly what someone is trying to do on this forum.

Andy said he did not put in those pop up ads either. Yes someone is mining coins off this forum. I don't know who, but it isn't Andy. This forum is long overdue for an upgrade. He's already set up the new server. Now he just needs to figure out the best way to migrate this forum onto the new server with Xenforo without copying over the infected stuff.
I just want to post hits and emotes and flirt with Flora a bit without my anti virus going crazy because someone is trying to plant bitcoin mining Trojans into my 2 thousand dollar laptop lol is that to much to ask. Maybe I'll make my own forum I have acquired quite the following on YT lol I'll give Andy the benefit of the doubt and give him a chance to setup a new server ect ect but if it's not up soon I may have to go elsewhere.
