My internet is back. So am I. Just did a HIT on worker. Hate it. It's like they intentionally fucked up every single tiny detail on purpose. - Why is there no box around the HIT frame? - Dunno about the countdown timer. I guess I can get used to it but it feels like change for the sake of change. - Why in hell are the HIT details hidden? - And if you click to see them you get a god-awful pop-up window instead of just un-hiding them... - And after submitting the HIT, you get a nice big box telling you HIT submitted RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the next HIT. Between the timer and hit details link and the actual HIT. What the hell? That was the LAST HIT submitted. Get that crap out of the middle of the HIT actually being done??? - I'll stop before I burst a blood vessel or something. Just ugh. Funny thing is, most places would have to go out of their way to find out what their users really want. This is a site that makes asking us things like that utterly trivial. Hell, they could cheap out and make it a free HIT. We'd be lining up to make suggestions.
My hit finder went out yesterday, but was working today...I've been getting update notices all day on all sorts of things. The one feature I like about scraper (the boxes that tell me if I've worked for a requester and or done that particular hit) don't seem to function on the new site, so I might as well use finder anyway. TM was updated today, but doesn't work properly either. I feel like I should be sending out hard working script writers pizza or something. They are in for a lot of headaches.
They felt our life was too cushy before. I get almost all my hits from the MTSuite, so I don't have to interact with the new site UI too much. Kadauchi says the Suite will be ready on time. Some of the other scripts are hit-and-miss.
Nah neither. I'm going to wake up to Turkpocalypse then deal with it. I've been avoiding the new site and I shall venture through it first thing tomorrow morning.
Yeah, I think I'm going to write off the new few days and use them to sort out scripts and such. Not saying I won't be working, but instead of filler work I will play with scripts. I am going to disable absolutely everything and start over. I have almost 40 scripts in Tampermonkey. Some are disabled, some are for requesters long deceased, some are basically useless for worker, some I don't know what the hell they do exactly. Gimme Scraper, Turkmaster and HIT database. I'll hunt other things down as I realize I still need them.
Approval Rate 99.99% No more fake 100%. If it rounds like the old server I'll need 207,267 HITs approved without a rejection to get it back. lol
lol, just accepted a hit off scraper on worker. It has a red box clearly saying "There are no more of these HITs available". Directly under that is the HIT it accepted for me to work on. The HIT is in my queue, it submitted fine. Dunno what the message up top was for. Tried to update one of my own scripts to function on worker. It isn't getting data back at all when it asks. Gonna have to find a working script to plagiarize, much like I did for the classic server. I'll be home tomorrow at 3 pm or so. I trust you guys will have it all worked out for me by then.
