Hi there and welcome, this is a really friendly forum I am sure you will find what you need here. Have you got the Turkopticon script installed? It will warn you about requesters who have had bad reviews. Go here if not:

    http://turkopticon.differenceengines.com

Also go into the Scripts section of the forum and install scripts you will find useful. I use the blocking script so I can block requesters I don't want to work for. The projected earnings one is useful, too.

    Good luck Turking!

This is definitely the place to come to be forewarned about stiffs and bad requesters. Another tool that was recommended to me is Turkopticon, which uses reviews from other workers to rate the quality of requesters on a few different categories. It's an extension for Firefox only, though, but it's worth at least a peak.

Additionally, name names, and often, when a requester gives you the shaft. That way the rest of us can be wary of them.

Turkopticon comes in Chrome flavour as well (I use that one).

Thanks for the help interneteditor, I ran across the turkoption script but didn't want to test something i wasn't sure about. Glad it comes recommended and i like the results. I'll check out the script section for more.
And chuck h, I will definetely let everybody know the name of this stiff if he doesn't resolve the issue of which i'm sure he wont but i'll give him the benefit of the doulbt for now

I always try to make sure everyone has Turkopticon, it's our single best defence against scammers and cheapsters.

Another bit of advice would be to make a goal to get up to 1,000 approved HITS. More work opens up for you after that "level". You might have to suck up a load of penny hits to get there quick!

Also check the HITs you are not qualified to do - is there a test you can take or a qual you can apply for? Do as many as you can to open up more work.

    Welcome mdm63!

Sounds like you are off to a good start with 650 HITs already under your belt. Best of luck on the ones in the future.

    Happy turking!
