I cannot wait to get an extra ram for it. <3 <3 but i'm a pretty small person so it's just right for me. (not a little person lol)
They are great little things aren't they? I justified getting mine by the fact I was doing NANOWRIMO and saw myself sitting in the car by the sea front being all inspired and everything. In reality, I spent more time in the soft play centre getting nasty stares from all the Alpha Mums because I wasn't helicoptering the kids.

I couldn't do it without my wireless mouse though, I hate the touchpad, have to switch it off or I make all kinds of mistakes.

Anyway, sorry, gone all off topic on the thread now. Sorry

Yes! I agree, I write as well too. (I don't know if this happened to you but) Don't you hate when you are typing something fantastic and then out of the blue the touch pad quickly highlights it and erases it. My heart shatters all the time when that happens.

OP: I apologize too with the going off subject. I'm somewhat notorious of doing that...forgive me. -_-

It is not an official version of TO and I did make this account to post the discovery (I never had an account with this site, so now was a good time to make one). However, I had permission from Lilly through an email.

Would you be interested in posting that you were able to do that to a few places? We haven't made the user scripts -- looks like a mod -- so I don't want to officially endorse it in case it has something weird in there (though, eyeballing it, it looks like phturk actually stripped a bunch of crap out that we ourselves are working on stripping out at the moment).

Oh yeah, that is why I always switch the touchpad off if I am writing. The thing I hate most is when the touchpad puts the cursor somewhere in the page other than the end of the text and several paragraphs end up in the wrong place. I rarely look at the screen when I am typing out of my head.

    Sorry for continuing OT :/

Hi all! This should be resolved now. You can get the updated TO here at http://turkopticon.differenceengines.com

Also, you might be interested that we're doing a study over the next few months to look at how Turkopticon users use Turkopticon and how crowdwork could be made better. Participating involves a one hour Skype or Google Hangouts interview and screen sharing as you show us how you do work on Turk.

Interested in participating and over 18 years old? Contact me, Lilly (lirani@uci.edu). Alas, we don't have funding to offer compensation for participating at the moment, but we will use what we learn to improve future crowdworker systems.

--------The official UC Irvine study information sheet that says the same thing in more legalistic terms:

Share your perspective on crowdsourcing systems.

A team of University of California Irvine researchers are conducting a study of crowdsourcing systems and practices. We are interested in learning about how crowdsourcing affects your technology work. Findings will be used to develop published research on crowdsourcing that may inform policy, best practices, and public understanding of crowdsourcing among the general public.

We will interview you in person, by email, or through an audio chat system – as you prefer. The interview will take approximately one hour. You may choose to remain anonymous or be cited by name in the research. Participating in the research will not bring you any direct, immediate benefit, but also has minimal risks. Participants must be over 18 years old.

Participants will not receive any financial compensation.

Can anyone help me? I am technologically dumb. I found where to install the "pending earnings". When I click on the install button, it tells me that any extensions can only be added from the chrome web store. But on their site I can not find it! It also says I do not need Greasemonkey if I have chrome because I thought that was my issue at first. What am I doing wrong and does anyone have advice in laments terms?
