No, it was...complicated. I''m still not sure if I was the jerk in the situation, or the company owner, or a little bit of both, or what.
It also involved a client of the company just throwing money at me in bonuses to help them design a better system than the company was using...involving inefficiencies that I HAD told the guy who wanted to hire me about. And I didn't realise I was helping the dude's client before I started helping dude with company #2. If that makes sense. Long, stressful story. lol.
