Not received cheque yet!!!
Hello everyone,
I am from india and i doesn't received my cheque yet....When i go to my local post office they ask me registrar number or postal code..so that they can search my courier...anyone knows registrar number or postal code???

They might be asking for the postal code that you have given to mturk. that is your area postal code. since they categorize letters by postal code so your check must be in the pile which has your area postal code.Originally Posted by rseliya

Do you receive the Cheque for the First time?
Generally you will receive the cheque in 4 or 5 days after conversion of dollar value to Indian Rupees which you would have received a mail about conversion rate of Dollar to INR. Do you receive the mail? Then, wait for 4 to 5 days. You will receive the Cheque by ordinary post to your address you register.
Even, if you were not receiving the cheque wait till 6 weeks and send a mail to customer care to mturk regardig the issue stating your transaction number and all details.
It seems to be suspicious as some Indian turkers already received the check as per the time and some didn't, even i did not received my two consecutive checks and it is been more than 20 days for the one check and 16 days for the other check after getting the Indian Rupee Cheque of Mechanical Turk Earnings is in the mail. hope w'll get it soon otherwise have to contact them for reissue.
I did not get my $117 cheque sofar. mturk took thair $4 commission and they did not send my earnings till now. I requested for cheque on july 14 and received confirmation mail on july 18. Genarally it tooks only 7to 10 days to reach the cheque so far. I contacted many times to mturk and they replied me I have to wait 6 weeks. mturk sent this valuble cheques by ordinary post.There is no way to ask about this in postal office.I am not getting how many years i have to wait for my earnings. I afraid to with draw my next earnings.
All - please be patient. Mturk is one of the most genuine companies around in online business.
All those who have received the email will receive the check without fail, it seems there is some delay on their side. Even I received my last check 22 days after receiving the dollar conversion email. I received it just 3 days back and its amount was $515 (so all those doubting that they put a hold on large amount proved wrong). Normally, I used to receive it within 7 days of receiving the email.
So do not worry and wait for the check - if it elapses 6 weeks you can get in touch with the CS and they will reissue a new check.
i received my 791$ check last week , but they made me wait for 9 days

There is something very fishy going on this month. 2 of my checks are more than 20 days overdue (1 is late by 6 weeks). I normally get my checks in 10-20 days.
Either our postal system sucks more than usual or there may be a dispatching problem from Amazon itself.
The bottom line is....this is extremely frustrating.
I really wish Amazon starts an option for electronic payments or Speed posts, because the current system is pathetic. I don't mind paying more for the service.
