For a week now my amazon payments account has been suspended, and I've been trying to figure out why. I finally just received an email from them today saying they can not confirm my information.. but they have refused to say why. This is their exact response.
Has this happened to anyone before or heard of it happening to others? I don't understand how difficult it is to verify my information. They just asked for basic stuff like name, address, SSN. I certainly didn't lie about any of it, I have no reason to. I'm so confused. I'm going to try calling them, but I'm worried that will still leave me with a suspended account.Unfortunately, we have been unable to confirm your account information which is required in order to utilize this service.

My MTurk account seems to be ok. I'm still able to log into mturk, it just wont let me do tasks. It gives me this message "You will not be able to use Amazon Mechanical Turk until your Amazon Payments account is in good standing." I'm even still getting messages from requesters. I was just qualified for something today and was emailed about a survey to do yesterday, but I can't do them.
Would it be a terrible idea to try and make a new account? Probably not a good idea, but I'm seriously desperate.
