    I would expect more batches over the next week than surveys, TBH. I agree with Cowfin's logic on the batches, but I think the surveys will be slow due to most US universities being on holiday break. I know I can't even go to my office or lab until Jan 1. :-/

    I don't really see businesses putting a lot of work out this week at all. They are all trying to get tax information together, trying to do the end of the year stuff. I say after the first of the New Year we will see a lot more work coming out. I have been here since 2008. It get's slow around the holidays.

    Just for the sake of arguing, I'm going to throw in a twist.

    Technically, the fiscal year in the US ends in September, making taxes irrelevant. At the same time, that varies jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

    I definitely do foresee a slowdown around christmas, but still expect there to be at least a few batches posted.

    They have to have all of their paperwork out by the 31st of December technically speaking for taxes to be done. They are going to do this before posting work. Just like when I worked at Solectron we pushed our arses off the week before Christmas from Christmas Eve Till the 2nd we had off cause of the end of the year tax crap they had to do.

    Well, I've lost 3 pounds from not being able to eat solid foods for 3 days and my rejection percentage is still on the repair. Hoping for some pretty great batch HITs today.
