Yeah but in general exclusive paraphelia is just rare. I mean the number of people who can only achieve arousal from feet is at best a very small subset of the number of people who have feet as an optional or even preferred paraphelia. Also specificity isn't really a sign of intensity and in some sense intensity isn't really a good measure of exclusivity.

Also there are some exceedingly rare paraphelia like one involving car tail pipes and some that are oddly common enough to have names like piquerism which is related to stabbing.

Paper is from 2007 all I could find about prevalence of fetishes with a quick google search. I've read some more on the topic but more about rare forms rather then the general prevalence. Its not just like I have a long list of journal articles lined up about sexual paraphillias.

Never said anything about exclusive and "fetish" isn't always used to mean exclusive. If it was, then FetLife and other related sites would only allow you to associate one with your profile instead of the seemingly endless number you could add.
