How worried should I be about the reports of multiple rejections? They claimed to have gotten them reversed but what were the reasons for the rejections?
If the highlighted seems kind of related to the purpose, should that still be marked as 'Purpose'. For example, one I just did was something like "The impact of this will go beyond the understanding of the science of this thing" so it wasn't really 'Purpose', but more of an extension to the purpose. I marked it as 'Purpose' though.

Yeah that is totally normal. A lot of these sentences are just kind of background or data related sentences.
Hmm interesting question. I agree with your labeling it as Purpose. It's more important to me that you don't mark it as Method if it seems more related to the purpose.
