Sometimes it's only about 20 minutes, other times I crash for up to 2-3 hours. I don't set alarms or anything; I just sleep until I wake up, and then stay awake until I go to sleep again.
that's just weird. I kinda wish I could do that though. Sleeping is a waste of time. When I crash, if I don't set an alarm, I'll sleep for 10-12 hours. When I try to power nap for 30-60mins it's so hard to not just say "fuck this I'm going to bed" then sleep for half a day.
People used to tell me the military would cure me of my habitual 10-12 hour sleeping patterns. It did not and just made me hate the army worse. If you ever asked me what the worst part of being in the military was, I'd tell you waking up at 4:30a to fckin exercise for 2 hours every damn day except weekends. Plus you'd have the occasional ruck march at 3am for 10 miles.
Yeah, I've always heard that too but sleeping is one of the most important parts of being a human so I never believed it.
Yeah, as far as I can tell it's a biological thing. My grandmother is the same way, and so is my dad to a lesser extent. Sometimes it really sucks though. A few days ago when Web Test posted, my body was like "Nope bitch, it's beddy bye time." Luckily, those have a four hour timer so I could still finish the queue when I woke up, but if it had been anything else then that would have just been like flushing money down the drain.
lol @ sleep. i have to stay awake for typically 40 hours, sometimes 50. you get used to it after a while
