So I made an Instagram for my dog, and now she's internet famous. When I went to bed this morning, she had around 200 followers, which I thought was pretty amazing. When I woke up, she had over 1,500. And now she's at 2,344.
Keep it up and you won't have to turk again. Just take pictures of your dog with various product shout outs and rake in millions.
I don't think you can make profits from having Instagram followers, can you? I'm not really that heavy an Instagram user.
What?? No way. People make money on Instagram? I've heard of people making money off of viral YouTube videos, but never from Instagram.
If you can get a big enough following companies will pay good money for you to advertise their products. Though you have to sort of pretend it's not an ad, even though everybody knows it's an ad. http://arstechnica.com/business/2014/03/the-beautiful-invasion-sponsorship-and-instagram/
Nice! What kind of dog is it? A dire wolf? lol. That's a massive jump in followers. Not even IG Model chicks have their follower count jump that much.
She was featured on Susie's Senior Dogs, which has 300k followers on Facebook and 140k followers on Instagram. So that's why the big jump. It was pretty crazy waking up and seeing my phone blown up, lol.
Yeah, it's been steady climbing all day. SSD posted about her on FB and on IG, and then it got reposted a bunch of times. Her story won the hearts of many. In case you're interested in the story. Actually, this is the original post.
You adopted Molly, good for you, congratulations on the new addition to your family, I'm happy she found a loving home where she can be best cared for, kudos!
